The locals mash up the green leaves into a zesty chutney, dry and powder them to sprinkle on food, or steep them into a bold, earthy tea.

Research shows sipping this tea may help lower blood sugar and control diabetes by improving insulin production and sensitivity. Well shiver me timbers! Turns out the leaves are also touted to boost energy, dial down inflammation, protect the heart, aid digestion, and fight infections. Seems like there’s nothing Moringa leaves can’t handle!
